The Richland School District Administration applied for and won a 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant to fund an after-school program for students in grades K-8 from the fall of 2023 through the spring of 2028. This after-school enrichment program, called STING, provides homework support and outside/playground time, as well as programming in STEM, art, music, social-emotional learning, field trips, and the opportunity to try new activities like karate and yoga. The program includes free daily after-school snacks and monthly parent/family programming.
We anticipate keeping the STING program FREE to all families for the 5-year duration of the grant. Families can register students by contacting the Program Site Managers (see contact information below).
