Welcome to the Richland School District—Home of the Hornets!
I am humbled to lead an amazing group of educators, staff, and students. Our Community is truly incredible, with sincere and generous residents. How fortunate we are to be surrounded by these outstanding individuals who create the family known as One Hive.
I started working for the Richland School District as a girls basketball coach in 1994—a position I held until 2017. In 2015, I started teaching Science at Richland Center High School, and in 2018 became the Assistant Principal/Activities Director. One year later, I moved to the Central Office as Business Official and remained in that role for four years. In September 2022, I was named Interim Superintendent before officially filling the position in July 2023.
Education has always been important to me. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Northcentral University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the same institution. I earned a second Master’s Degree in School Business Management from UW-Whitewater and completed the Superintendent’s licensure from Viterbo University.
Having filled roles from a co-curricular advisor to a teacher, building leader, and superintendent has given me a unique perspective of how impactful ALL adults can be on students. Education provides excellent opportunities for our youth and adolescents, and the Richland School District prides itself on its many opportunities.
Richland Center is a fantastic place and one my family is proud to call home. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Working together toward solutions is how we will continue to move forward and stay Centered on Students!
